Description

A richly illustrated children's encyclopaedia presented as a 'field guide' to various dragon species, designed to look like a historic artifact. This volume features detailed drawings, notes on dragon characteristics, habitats, and evolutionary information. The book includes several internal envelopes, which, according to the back cover, originally contained 'ready-to-make dragon models'. The front cover is adorned with a gold foil 'OYGAN MODEL' seal and bears the signature of 'Ernest Drake'. A companion volume, 'Dragonology: The Complete Book of Dragons', is also visible in some photographs.
