Description

A collection of decorative ceramic items and a lidded storage box. The lot includes: an oval plate with a floral still life, a large scalloped bowl with an intricate rose pattern, a pink and white floral teacup and saucer set, a Dudson Super Vitrified plate (dated March 1990) featuring a geometric and floral pattern, another Dudson Super Vitrified plate with a painted rural landscape scene, a round ceramic plate with a raised, hand-painted relief of a thatched cottage with a hanging wire on the reverse, a white pierced-rim plate decorated with a cluster of fruit, and a floral patterned round hat box. The Wallace Collection plate (top right in overview image) features a design taken from a Sèvres Porcelain saucer dated 1766, produced for The Wallace Collection, London, by Elite Gift Boxes.

Condition Report

The 3D cottage relief plate shows widespread crazing to the glaze and some minor paint wear. The Dudson landscape plate has surface scratches and wear on the painted scene. Other items show general wear expected with used decorative items.
