Description

A diverse collection of vintage and decorative items. The lot includes a small framed landscape oil painting, signed 'REID' and framed by 'Feature Frames' of Joondalup, Western Australia. Accompanying this is a smaller framed print depicting a figure in period attire. Also present is a black lacquered jewelry box with a red velvet interior and an internal mirror, alongside a set of four square coasters featuring vibrant botanical floral prints. The collection also comprises two white hand-crocheted lace doilies and an elliptical one, a large dark wooden box with an inlaid star pattern on its lid, and a dark brown leather wallet/document holder branded 'YVES SAINT LAURENT'. A unique violin-shaped weather station incorporates a thermometer and barometer. Completing the assortment is a timber tray with rope handles.

Condition Report

The large wooden box exhibits numerous scratches, scuffs, and general wear consistent with its age, including some dust and minor marks to the interior. The brass hinges and clasp on the large box show signs of age and patina. The leather wallet/document holder shows significant creasing, scuffs, and wear from use. Frames for both the landscape painting and the small print show minor scuffs and wear; the backing paper on the landscape painting's frame is slightly worn. The jewelry box hinges appear somewhat tarnished, and the interior velvet may have minor dust or wear. Doilies may require cleaning.
