Description

A varied collection of approximately 20 vintage children's story books, featuring classic tales, adventure stories, and annuals from the mid-20th century. Titles include "Searchlight Adventure Stories for Boys", "My Enid Blyton Book", "The Rupert Picture Story Book", "Holiday Stories", "Knights of the Round Table", "The Story of Karrawingi The Emu", "The Wonder Book of Famous Tales", and others. The books represent a snapshot of children's literature and illustration from the era, with colourful covers and engaging stories designed for young readers. Many are hardcover editions, some with illustrated dust jackets (though most jackets are missing or heavily worn).

Many covers are detached or partially detached, with significant edge wear, creasing, and small tears. Pages show foxing, toning, and some staining; some bindings are loose. "Searchlight" has significant edge wear and corner bumping. "The Story of Karrawingi The Emu" shows water staining on interior pages and cover. Some books may have inscriptions or marks from previous owners.
